David Porzio, MD Bio
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#cf4e53″][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]Dr. Porzio is the medical director of Marque Medical, a medical services company specializing in delivering high-quality urgent care medicine. He’s a board-certified medical doctor, specializing in cardiology. Dr. Porzio was born in Long Beach and raised in San Jose, CA. He graduated from Cal State University, Long Beach and attended medical school at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Massachusetts and decided to move back to Southern California to start his medical career.
Dr. Porzio joined Marque Medical in May of 2013. Before Marque Medical he had a solo cardiology medical practice at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. He’s passionate about cardiology and helping people make changes to lower their risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Porzio is loved by his patients and the community. He is always willing to go the extra mile when it comes to managing and mentoring the medical providers at Marque Medical. He is actively involved in training, mentoring and shadowing new doctors and physician assistants and regularly attends and speaks at medical conventions and events. Dr. Porzio holds a FACC certification (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology) which is given to physicians based on their outstanding credentials, achievements, and community contribution to cardiovascular medicine.
Personal Summary
Dr. Porzio lives in Irvine with his three boys.
