Answer- Physical therapy is rehabilitation to help restore your health and strength, alleviate pain and learn about your condition.
Question- What happens during my first physical therapy visit?
Answer- The physical therapist will team up with your physician to provide an in-depth evaluation and treatment plan including how often and for how long to perform therapy.
Question- What do physical therapists do?
Answer- They evaluate how muscles, joints, and nerves are functioning during everyday activities and work-related tasks.
Question- Why are people referred to physical therapy?
Answer- People are referred to physical therapy so they can get back to their life fast. Formal physical therapy treatments such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, laser, traction, deep muscle stimulation, concussion testing, and advanced manual therapy can help patients perform modalities often difficult to do own your own or at home. Physical therapists can also customize a home exercise program to help the patient on the road to recovery.

Answer- You will have direct attention with a licensed clinician.
Question- How long will each treatment last and how many visits will I need?
Answer- Treatments typically last 45-60 minutes two to three days a week for four to six weeks depending on the condition and how your body responds.
Question- What types of treatments will I receive?
Answer- Manual and functional therapy, therapeutic exercise, soft tissue release, joint mobilization, range of motion and manual traction, neuromuscular reeducation, gait and orthotic training.
